The Challenge & Objectives
• Unipath Global struggled with fragmented data across spreadsheets and isolated tools, leading to dropped leads, delayed university applications, and inconsistent counselor follow-ups. • The primary objective was to engineer a centralized, multi-branch CRM to streamline the entire student lifecycle—from initial lead capture to final visa approval—while eliminating manual data entry bottlenecks.
Architecture & Engineering Decisions
• Architected a modular Laravel 12 foundation utilizing Livewire 3 for highly reactive, SPA-like interfaces without the overhead of a decoupled frontend API. • Engineered a custom, JSON-driven Automation Engine to handle asynchronous event triggers (e.g., automated email/task generation upon document uploads or stage changes). • Implemented granular, cache-backed Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to securely segregate data across different branch offices and agent tiers.
