The Challenge & Objectives
• International education agencies face high lead drop-off due to static inquiry forms, outdated country visa guides, and fragmented applicant tracking. • UniPath Global needed a single enterprise platform to serve two critical purposes: a lightning-fast, high-converting public interface allowing prospective students to explore destination countries, universities, and fee waivers; and an internal operations hub for counselors to manage admissions appointments, audit logs, student testimonials, and active intake campaigns.
Architecture & Engineering Decisions
• Built on Next.js 16 (App Router) and React 19 with Turbopack, styled with Tailwind CSS v4 and animated using Framer Motion for liquid-glass micro-interactions and interactive 3D Three.js components. • Decoupled the relational data layer using MySQL 8.0 and Drizzle ORM for end-to-end type safety and zero-downtime schema migrations. • Developed a dedicated staff portal (/uniadmin) with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), multi-step appointment wizard APIs validated with Zod, and a client-side HTML5 Canvas poster compressor reducing promotional asset payloads before server-side file writes.
